A potential increase in workers’ comp claim frequency as a result of the tight labor market remained a topic of discussion as carriers reported their first quarter earnings results.
An increased work comp claim frequency was reported in October by Doug Elliot, president of The Hartford, among the company’s small commercial and middle-market accounts.
