Retired workers' compensation judge Todd Mayo has returned to the Mayo & Ross law firm in East Brunswick as a partner, the News Tribune reported.

Mayo told the newspaper that his experience as both a municipal judge and a workers' compensation judge will help the practice. He retired as supervising judge of compensation for Middlesex County after serving three years on the bench. Prior to that, he was chief municipal court judge in East Brunswick for 11 years.

Mayo founded the Mayo & Ross law firm with Aaron Russ in 1997, according to Lawyers.com. He became chief judge for the East Brunswick municipal court in 2001.
