L&I Fines Employer $9,639 for Exposing Workers to COVID-19

The Washington state Department of Labor & Industries said it fined a fitness center in Yakima $9,639 for exposing workers to COVID-19 by opening for business when it should have been closed. L&I said Anytime Fitness in Selah was open June 15. The gym is in Yakima County, which remains in the first phase of the four-phase reopening plane.
