A plumber convicted of working two jobs while receiving benefits was ordered to pay $42,000 in restitution to the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.
The BWC said a judge ordered 46-year-old Mica Jepsen to pay restitution after he pleaded guilty to a fifth-degree felony fraud charge. Jepsen was also sentenced to five years of probation.
The BWC said its Special Investigation Department discovered that Jespen worked as a plumber for two separate companies while receiving BWC disability benefits.
