High Court Sorts Out Fee Squabble in $8 Million Labor Law Case

New York's highest court ruled that an attorney couldn't stiff her former co-counsel on a Labor Law case, although she wasn't required to give 40% of the fees to her new co-counsel, either. The Court of Appeals issued its published decision in Marin v. Constitution Realty, No. 2, on Thursday. Jose Marin suffered serious injuries when he fell approximately 40 feet while working on a building in Manhattan.
