Old Republic International Corp. has reported a net income of $300 million for the fourth quarter of 2017, a 127% increase from net income of $132 million in the prior-year quarter.
For the full year, Old Republic’s net income was $560 million, up 20% from $467 million in 2016.
In the general insurance group, net premiums earned increased 7.2% in the fourth quarter, to $797 million. The group’s investment income was up 3%, to $81 million.
