A liquor saleswoman who lied about an assault at work was convicted on a theft charge, and a nurse who is accused of lying about a work injury so she could take the rest of the day off were highlighted in the latest edition of the Pennsylvania Insurance Fraud Prevention Authority’s latest newsletter.
Kerri Conway, of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 6 pleaded guilty to theft by deception and false reports. She was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to pay $1,811.50 in court costs and fines, according to the October edition of Pennsylvania Fraud Stories.
