Kansas lawmakers could once again review a proposal to allow medical use of cannabis this year. Senate Bill 555, by the Senate Committee on Federal and State Affairs, resembles unsuccessful bills from 2021 and 2022 in that it would not require work comp to cover the costs of the drug and would not penalize workers with valid prescriptions who test positive for it after a workplace injury.
