High Court Explains Credit Calculations When Workers Get Increased Awards on Appeal

Maryland's highest court ruled that when a workers' compensation award is increased on appeal, the payer of the award is entitled to a credit based on the total dollars actually paid, not the number of weeks for which benefits were paid.
