Colorado lawmakers sent the governor a bill that would give injured workers the right to choose a treating physician.
House Bill 1300, by Rep. Jenny Willford, D-Northglenn, would repeal the law allowing employers to provide injured workers with the option of selecting from four treating doctors. The bill would instead allow injured workers to get treatment from any provider who has Level I or Level II accreditation.
