While many conferences, hearings and meetings around the country have been canceled through May because of the coronavirus outbreak, the Florida Division of Workers' Compensation announced it will hold a workshop May 27 on medical reimbursement and utilization review rules.
The proposed changes affect the 69L-7 family of administrative rules and seek to clarify definitions and what is required of medical providers and insurers. The notice of rulemaking did not make clear what the proposed changes are, and a preliminary draft was not available, the division said in a notice this week.
