The Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania ruled that a firefighter carried his burden of proving that he developed a compensable occupational disease in the form of lung cancer. Case: Deloatch v. WCAB (City of Philadelphia), No. 1684 C.D. 2018, 01/03/2010, published. Facts: Wayne Deloatch worked as a firefighter for the City of Philadelphia from 1988 until 2008. In 2011, doctors diagnosed Deloatch with lung cancer.
