ICW Group Hires Novak as COO as Hoppen Moves to Fla.

ICW Group Insurance Companies announced Thursday the appointment of John Novak as chief operating and strategic execution officer, effective immediately. Novak will succeed David Hoppen, who accepted a position as president of ICW's VerTerra Insurance Co. Hodden is relocating to Florida to assume the position starting on Jan. 1. ICW said Novak has 24 years of leadership experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. He was previously managing director of Guy Carpenter, a reinsurance broker.
