Court Revives Hairdresser's Claim for Mesothelioma

The Missouri Court of Appeals revived a hairdresser's claim for benefits for his mesothelioma from his exposure to asbestos in the hair dryers he had used over the course of his career. Case: Hayden v. Cut-Zaven Ltd., No. ED108695, 09/22/2020, published. Facts: Marc Hayden worked as a hairdresser for Cut-Zaven from 1976 until 1979. He worked for Papillion from 1979 until 1982 and was self-employed from 1983 until 2014. In November 2013, Hayden began experiencing discomfort when breathing.
