Amazon Fined $5.9M for Violating Quota Law

The California Labor Commissioner's Office on Tuesday announced that it fined Amazon $5.9 million for violating the state’s warehouse quota law. Amazon failed to provide written notice of quotas as required by Assembly Bill 701, which took effect Jan. 1, 2022.
