Presiding Judge Lifts Mask Mandate

The presiding judge of the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Court on Tuesday signed an administrative order allowing those who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 to appear without a mask. People who have not been vaccinated are asked to continue wearing masks pursuant to Daniel R. Fridrich’s order. Fridrich cited positive trends in both the number of COVID cases and vaccination rates in the state, as well as a lack of a statewide mask mandate.
