After a seven-month delay to get the bugs worked out, the Iowa Division of Workers' Compensation says it is ready to roll out its new electronic filing system on July 16.
The division had planned to launch the system late last year and notified vendors that they must utilize the electronic data interchange (EDI) standard 3.1, as established by the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions. But problems arose last fall with the system, and testing could not be completed, officials said at the time.
