Board Gives Guidance on 'Labor Market Attachment' in Response to New Law

A new law that no longer requires workers on permanent partial disability to seek employment within their medical restrictions will create a system of deadbeats and raise system costs, defense attorneys say. The provision, tucked inside New York state’s fiscal year 2018 budget bill this spring, went into effect immediately after Gov.
