Legislation Would Give EquityComp 'Regulatory Certainty'

Following a legal battle in California over its EquityComp insurance program, Applied Underwriters is now seeking legislation in several states to provide what it calls greater regulatory certainty regarding the product. In the first of what might be a series of similar bills in different states, Florida Sen. Doug Broxson, R-Gulf Breeze, last week introduced Senate Bill 1866.
