Advocates for nurses and other health care workers want to make 2016 the year real movement is made on cutting the staggering rate of injuries suffered by staff in the nation's hospitals, nursing homes and other facilities. The American Nurses Association (ANA) and workers' safety campaign groups are backing a federal bill aimed at introducing safe lifting technology and other measures in sites across the country.
