Arizona lawmakers voted to send the governor a bill that would exclude certain employers from placement in the state’s assigned risk plan.
The state House of Representatives on Monday unanimously approved the amendments that Rep. David Livingston, R-Peoria, made to HB 2032 while it was in the Senate.
Arizona employers that are unable to purchase workers’ compensation coverage from two or more carriers must be placed in the assigned risk plan.
HB 2032, however, would preclude placing certain bad actors into the assigned risk plan.
