The Montana state House of Representatives passed a bill to clarify the exclusion of coverage for injuries sustained during social or recreational activities.
The House on Monday voted 79-20 to pass HB 178, by Rep. Kenneth Walsh, R-Twin Bridges, which would exclude from coverage injuries that occur during “an unpaid social or recreational activity” regardless of “whether the activity occurs at the work site of the employer.”
