A California appellate court ruled that a worker who was sexually exploited by her treating physician was not entitled to a permanent total disability award. Case: Applied Materials v. WCAB, No. H047148, 05/07/2021, unpublished. Facts: An Applied Materials employee allegedly developed pain in her neck, right arm and right shoulder in 2001.
