The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division is proposing to increase the fee paid to insurers for administering the Employer-at-Injury program, to $180 from $120.
The program encourages early return-to-work by providing incentives such as wage subsidies when people are given accommodating work assignments while recovering from an occupational injury.
Insurers assist employers in participating in the program and are paid a flat fee of $120 per claim to cover administrative costs.
