Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte vetoed a bill that would have allowed workers' compensation coverage for first responders diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder.
Gianforte said in his veto message that work comp coverage for post-traumatic stress disorder would be expensive for state taxpayers and unfair to other workers, such as nurses and social workers, who can also experience work-related PTSD.
