Hearings Scheduled on Skin Cancer Presumption, Claim Acceptance Deadlines

California lawmakers will hear testimony next week on bills that would extend presumptive skin cancer coverage to state game wardens and park rangers and shorten the time for employers to accept liability for workers’ compensation claims. The Assembly Insurance Committee on Tuesday will discuss the policy implications of expediting liability decisions under Senate Bill 335.
