California lawmakers will hear testimony next week on bills that would extend presumptive skin cancer coverage to state game wardens and park rangers and shorten the time for employers to accept liability for workers’ compensation claims.
The Assembly Insurance Committee on Tuesday will discuss the policy implications of expediting liability decisions under Senate Bill 335. On July 15, the Senate Appropriations Committee will review the potential cost of expanding the skin cancer presumption as proposed by AB 334.
