The Montana Department of Labor and Industry is hosting a virtual meeting Sept. 22 to discuss the latest edition of the American Medical Association's Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment.
Montana providers currently use the sixth edition of the AMA Guides as required by state law.
The American Medical Association in July updated the sixth edition, and the department said the legislative action will be required to allow the use of the most recent guidelines.
