Governor's Conference to Explore Comp and Pandemic

The Montana Governor’s 2021 Conference on Workers’ Compensation will explore topics including the pandemic’s effect on workers’ compensation, how the comp system responded to it, and changes moving forward. The theme for the event is, “Workers’ Compensation in a Post-Pandemic World.” Sessions relating to COVID-19 will compare and contrast the 2020 pandemic to the Spanish flu pandemic of 1918, how the COVID pandemic reshaped thoughts about workplace safety, and challenges the comp system can expect to face moving out of the pandemic.
