Carriers Now Can Use Audit Noncompliance Charge

The Minnesota Department of Commerce has established an audit noncompliance charge to aid carriers that cannot obtain necessary policyholder records to perform premium audits. NCCI Item B-1429 takes effect Jan. 1 for all new and renewal business, a letter to members of the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Insurers Association says.
