State's First Woman Comp Commissioner Reappointed for Another Term

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has appointed Cassie Brown to another two-year term as workers' compensation commissioner. The governor's office announced Thursday that Brown would serve at least until February 2023 if her appointment is ratified by the state Senate.
