An Alabama recycling company has been cited and ordered to pay $84,000 after it failed abate hazards as ordered by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration after an earlier inspection last year.
Birmingham-based ALSS Recycling, Inc., which recycles sintered iron and sells it to foundries, was cited for one serious and three other-than-serious violations for not abating the violations it had been ordered to fix.
