Insurance Bureau Okays 3.9% Increase in Loss Costs

The Maine Bureau of Insurance has approved a 3.9% increase in workers' compensation loss costs requested by the National Council on Compensation Insurance in response to changes in the medical fee schedule that took effect in December.'The loss-cost changes will take effect April 1 and follow a 1.8% decrease approved by Insurance Superintendent Eric A.
