Idaho's Department of Insurance announced that workers' compensation premium rates will increase 0.2% for 2016 following two consecutive years of decreases.
The department said in a statement it received a proposal from the National Council on Compensation Insurance on Wednesday recommending the increase.
Mike Taylor, NCCI state relations executive for Idaho, said in a statement that the filing shows the stability of the state's workers' compensation system.
