Former Players Object to Pending Settlement in NFL Concussion Litigation

A group of seven former professional football players on Monday filed a formal objection to a still-pending settlement proposal by the National Football League targeted at resolving a long-running dispute about whether the league knew about the risks of neurological injury to its players and what it should have done. The charges, MDL Docket Item No. 2323, have been stacking up since July 2011. The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation ordered them consolidated before Judge Anita B.
