The Florida Special Disability Trust Fund's unfunded liability has dropped to $796,767,000, down 18% from an estimated $973,286,000 shortfall the year before, according to an actuarial review released by the Division of Workers' Compensation on Tuesday.
Assuming a 4% rate of return on the fund's investments, the unfunded liability is $535,181, according to the report by AMI Risk Consultants. The annual review covers the period from July 1, 2014, to June 30, 2015.
