Max TD, PD Benefits Increasing 5.5%

The Kentucky Department of Workers’ Claims announced that maximum temporary disability and permanent total disability benefits are increasing 5.5% to match the increase in the state’s average weekly wage. The average weekly wage in Kentucky increased to $1,073.12 for 2022 from $1,016.75 in 2021.  Temporary disability and permanent total disability benefits are equal to two-thirds of an injured worker’s average weekly wage and capped at 110% of the state average wage.
