Case Farms Chicken racks up safety violations the way a star NFL quarterback totals passing yards, and the company received 55 more citations Thursday from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, according to a news release from the agency.
The latest round of citations were issued Thursday after an inspection at the company’s Winesburg, Ohio, plant for a variety of hazards that could cause death, amputation or other serious injuries resulting in assessed penalties of $861,500, according to the release. The company was added to the severe violator enforcement program.
