The National Council of Insurance Legislators wrapped up 2018 by approving a model law related to physician dispensing and compounded drugs in workers’ compensation, as well as a model act on regulation of pharmacy benefit managers.
And drug pricing will remain a focus for the group this year, as NCOIL plans to flesh out a model law framework introduced last month and focused on drug pricing transparency.
