The Oregon Workers' Compensation Division announced that it increased injured workers' travel reimbursement rates this week. The division posted a new bulletin stating that the mileage reimbursement rate is now 58.5 cents per mile, which is higher than 50.5 cents per mile. The change was effective as of Aug. 1, 2008. The bulletin also clarifies the standard lodging and meal rates for various counties throughout the state, which became effective on Oct. 1.
