Legislature Passes Bill to Allow Use of Licensed Nurse Registry for Attendant Care

Florida lawmakers on Thursday gave final approval to a bill that would allow an employer or workers’ compensation carrier to use a licensed nurse registry to provide attendant care services for injured workers. The Senate voted 38-0 to pass HB 437, by the House Insurance and Banking Subcommittee, which would add nurse registries to the list of authorized providers of attendant care services.
