Van Ness Named Acting Deputy Administrator of WCD

Jim Van Ness will serve as acting deputy administrator of the Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division while the agency looks for a new director. After Cameron Smith resigned in November 2019 to run for Secretary of State, WCD Administrator Lou Savage was named his temporary replacement as acting director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services.
