Uninsured Trucking Co. Owner Pleads Guilty to 293 Counts

The owner of a Montana trucking company pleaded guilty to one felony and 292 misdemeanor counts for operating without insurance from June 2011 to June 2013, according to a report by the Helena Independent Record. Christopher L. Blount, 53, on Tuesday pleaded guilty to a single felony count of employer misconduct and 292 misdemeanors for operating without insurance despite a court order directing him to suspend operations until he obtained comp coverage.
