Lawmakers Approve Conference Committee Amendments to Presumptions

Virginia lawmakers over the weekend unanimously approved bills that would create a presumption that COVID-19 is a compensable occupational disease for first responders, corrections workers and health care providers. Lawmakers also approved a bill that would extend a cancer presumption to emergency medical workers.
