The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation has determined how a $15 million rebate from the Public Work-Relief Employees’ Fund will be allocated to the state’s counties, the bureau said in a press release.
The amounts range from $133, to tiny Fulton County, to $1.5 million to Hamilton County, which boasts Cincinnati as its county seat. Nearly half the state’s 88 counties will receive $90,000 or more.
Amounts were determined based on the premiums each county paid into the PWRE from 2005 to 2014.
