CWCI Reports 94.1% of Treatments Ultimately Approved

The California Workers’ Compensation Institute reports more than 94% of treatment requests in the first 10 months of 2018 were ultimately approved by utilization review or independent medical review, an approval rate that’s consistent with other findings from previous years.
