House, Senate Pass Bills to End Rebates, Raise Medical Fees

From increasing medical fees to ending rebates for special-fund assessments, Oklahoma lawmakers on both ends of the Capitol were busy passing bills proposing changes to the workers' comp system before last week's deadline to move bills out of the chamber of origin. One item that hasn't seen much movement is a rescue plan for the state's Multiple Injury Trust Fund, which is facing imminent insolvency and a $500 million shortfall in revenue.
