Governor Picks John Swanson for Texas Mutual Board

Gov. Rick Perry announced Friday he has appointed John Swanson of Frisco to the Texas Mutual Insurance Co. board of directors for a term to expire July 1, 2017.Swanson is president and chief executive officer of Republic Energy, Inc.He is a member of the Independent Petroleum Association of America, past technical reviewer for the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and a past trainer for Junior Achievement of Midland.Swanson received a bachelor’s degree from Colorado University and an MBA from the University of Dallas.Source:  Texas Governor's Officebody {background: #FFF;}body {ba...
