The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation is accepting comments on proposed changes required by a 2019 state law that dropped the requirement that subcontractor hiring agreements be filed with the agency. State law has required building contractors to file DWC Form 86 with the insurance carrier, but House Bill 1665 decreed that the form would need to be provided to the division only upon request.
