A measure to make Missouri the last U.S. state to adopt a prescription drug monitoring program is moving swiftly through the Senate after the bill's biggest foe said he would not filibuster it this time.
Multiple media sources reported last week that Sen. Rob Schaaf, R-St. Joseph, had dropped his opposition to House Bill 90, citing public pressure.
