This is what happens when people who have never practiced WC, and do not understand it, try to "fix it." If this bill passes, some people will lose their homes to cover an injury that for decades would not have been the homeowners' liability. I would like to say that I am optimistic that common sense will prevail but...

LC 3352(h) was designed to protect homeowners against lawsuits. This bill would undermine those protections and potentially cause a substantial premium increase on all homeowner/renter policies.

I see your positions and somewhat agree with you but what is the alternative? If these injured workers are not covered by some policy, then that burden will likely shift to the taxpayer in public health, disability and rehabilitation programs.
